Concrete cover measurement
Fjord Consulting offers control/measurement of concrete cover on the reinforcement in concrete foundations, with the help of concrete cover layer meters. Concrete cover measurements are performed on concrete foundations and concrete structures. This measurement checks the cover layer on the reinforcement, and the result is then compared towards the design documents in order to verify that the correct cover layer thickness on the reinforcement has been achieved.
The check is performed as a non-destructive test.
We use a meter from Proceq, model 630AI. The result of performed measurements are available both digitally and as a PDF.
